We bring enterprise-grade security and IT to the small and mid-sized firms that need it most — run by people who have actually done it at scale, for people who have a business to run.

Philotech was founded by James Lee, a CPA who spent more than 20 years building Lee CPA Audit Group into a thriving firm. Running his own business, he learned firsthand how a single IT failure could ripple through everything — a ransomware hit, a day of downtime, a lost set of records never stayed a “tech problem.” It became lost revenue, stalled work, and shaken client trust.
He tried managing it himself, then through a series of MSPs — and kept hitting the same wall. That frustration, paired with a CPA’s eye for what actually protects a business, is why he built Philotech.
“For years I either wrestled with IT myself or paid an MSP that kept me in the dark and disappeared the moment something broke. So I built the partner I wish I’d had — and now I get to offer it to the friends and colleagues in the same spot.”

Managing Principal Steve Kremesec brings 28 years at Intel Corp to Philotech, where he spent nearly three decades building and running enterprise technology programs and partnerships across North America and Asia. With a computer-science and MBA background, he pairs deep technical fluency with how businesses actually operate.
At Philotech, Steve built the security, compliance, and delivery practice from the ground up, implementing the same enterprise discipline that protects large organizations, sized and priced for growing firms. It is the difference between tools installed and services run properly.

We believe security and reliable IT should not be a privilege of the largest companies. Technology should be simple to live with, genuinely secure, and built to grow with you.
To give growing businesses the same caliber of security, backup, and IT management that large enterprises take for granted — clearly explained, properly documented, and priced to fit.
To be the most trusted security and IT partner for growing firms in the fields where a breach costs the most — the professional, healthcare, legal, and financial businesses their clients rely on every day.
We start by assessing your security posture and the regulations that apply to you — finding the gaps before an attacker or auditor does. Then we establish a resilient foundation: endpoint protection, immutable backup, and a tested recovery plan.
A human-staffed security operations center (SOC) monitors your environment around the clock, investigating and containing threats before they disrupt your business — not just emailing an alert.
With PhiloWork, we run the day-to-day: users, devices, and Microsoft 365 — secure access, identity and MFA, onboarding and offboarding — so your team simply works.
As you grow, we keep tuning — tightening controls, strengthening compliance, and reporting transparently, so your protection scales with the business.
